With their flight comparison, the company wants to help customers find and book the perfect flight as easily and cheaply as possible. Type of contract: Permanent, on-site


Responsibilities:

• Deal with topics relating to our client's flight comparison – from comparison results to booking routes to self-services in the customer area after booking. You will be in close contact with the frontend teams and external partners.
  
• Together with the team of experienced developers, you will work on the further development and maintenance of the overall architecture, consisting of the backend, databases, caches, etc. (comparison mask, comparison result, final route, REST API).
  
• Contribute to the expansion of our client's automated release process (continuous integration) and quality assurance (unit testing).
  
• Expand your knowledge through company-wide tech talks and weekly team-internal knowledge transfer meetings.
  

Requirements

• A successfully completed IT degree (computer science, media informatics, business informatics, or similar) or training as an IT specialist.
  
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming with PHP and at least one relational database (e.g. MySQL).
  
• Strong quality awareness, hands-on mentality, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a team as well as a high level of commitment.
  
• German C1 is a must.
  
• English skills are a plus.
