We are recruiting an Associate Director Market AccessGermany, in which through market access activities the successfulcandidate will contribute to shape the German market landscape toaccept differentiation and create an enhanced positioning forcell-culture and adjuvanted vaccines accepted by payers and by keystakeholders. You will design, develop and implement effectivemarket strategies related to new launches and existing products inthe area of pricing and reimbursement, evidence-based medicinereview, health technology, and/or health economic modelling (thislatter in close collaboration with global and EMEA market access).You will communicate the unique attributes of CSL Seqirus portfolioto external stakeholders to ensure the vaccine's value propositionwill be recognized and maximize market uptake. To be successful inthis position you will work collectively with national and regionalpayers, physician associations, pharmacy associations,reimbursement influencers and other decision makers to ensurecontinuous changing reimbursement systems remain fair to allinvolved parties and the value of the Seqirus portfolio isrecognised. You will actively drive, support and contribute tointernal business strategic meetings, budget reviews, HTAsubmissions, and be the owner of key strategic projects, such asregional and national market access advisory boards, pricesubmissions, health economic analysis and budget impact model toolsThis role reports to the Country Head DACH, and is a strategic rolewhich requires very close cross-collaboration; locally withmedical, marketing, sales teams, and globally with market accessteam, policy team, Responsibilities include: - - Responsible forplanning and implementing market access strategy for the Seqirusexisting portfolio as well as preparing for new launches - Workscross functionally with the country head, with the local marketing,medical and policy colleagues as well as with the global and EMEAmarket access teams and other key stakeholders to develop the valuepropositions for the portfolio. - Engage key stakeholders assounding board to validate and optimise the market access strategy- Work closely with the global and EMEA market access teams togenerate health economic analysis, cost effectiveness and budgetimpact models in line with the country strategy - Provide inputinto policy shaping dossiers preparation, supporting theachievement of differentiated positioning for the Seqirusinnovative vaccines - In collaboration with the cross-functionalteam, generate compelling story flows able to effectivelycommunicate information on product efficacy, on RWE data, on healtheconomics and value propositions to demonstrate advantages of ourvaccines - Monitors the external environment, customers, andcompetitors to understand market conditions and identifyopportunities to improve value capture. - Identify any legislationchanges that can have an impact on price and reimbursement and onaccess in general - Input to the future pricing strategy for newlaunches together with the cross functional team - Evaluatespricing and market access risks - Take care of annual submission ofpricing and price update in the official portals; - Builds andmaintains relationships with key regional and national keystakeholders, health economic opinion leaders, payers andhealthcare groups - Engage at regional level with payers, withphysician (KV) and pharmacy associations to continue enhanceawareness on Seqirus expertise and its portfolio, shapeconversations to create acceptance for Seqirus innovative vaccine.- Implement strategies and tactics to avoid the barrier of theeconomic principle, leading as many regions as possible to includecell-culture and adjuvanted under the pricing acceptable newvaccines - Ensure frequent meetings with payers and KVs, coordinatemeeting to include medical and the GM - Develop and execute marketaccess advisory boards, round tables - Provide regular update onthe changing market access landscape, or new regulations that canaffect access keeping the cross-functional team informed - Have aclose collaboration with EMEA market access and global team,collaborate on the development of HE models, budget impact modelsand other access tools - Create dash boards and update overview toinform the cross-functional team as well as the sales team;collaborate with the regional sales managers and district managersto optimise the communication flow and ensure optimised strategyand results at regional level - Input into country strategicmeetings, business reviews and budget planning - Coordinate marketaccess meetings with medical affairs, ensuring key messages andstrategy are always considering the latest stand of the portfolioevidence generation - Collaborate closely with policy colleaguesand agencies to support achieving a STIKO differentiatedrecommendation for the Seqirus portfolio - Ensure compliance withall internal and external policies, procedures, and regulationse.g., Code of Practice, financial processes Qualifications, skills,and Experience: - - Bachelors’ degree in business, health policy,health economics, life sciences or healthcare discipline; - 10years' pharmaceutical industry experience including market access,brand/specialty channel marketing and account management. - Musthave knowledge of the German healthcare system, relevant legal,compliance and regulatory requirements. - Fluent in German andEnglish - Holds a driving license valid in Germany. - Willing totravel across Germany and internationally according to businessneeds. - Excellent oral and written communication skills in Germanand English language required. - Ability to engage stakeholders atany level - Excellent and demonstrated interpersonal skills: -Collaborate effectively and demonstrate leadership and teamworkwith peers, internal stakeholders and external customers thatinspire alignment and partnership on a shared vision or strategy. -Be a self-starter, be accountable and have a sense of urgency indelivering results that have payors impact and yield a positivecustomer experience.
