The person in this role will partner with finance & business leaders across the company to provide insight into financial and operating trends in support of the company’s growth initiatives and go-to-market strategy. This person will serve as a key member of Veeam’s FP&A team focusing on strategic growth initiatives, development of operating analyses/insights, and long range financial planning.Your tasks will include:Generate and drive analyses and insights into key metrics to serve as thought partners to business leaders in their strategic and operational decision-makingDevelop and maintain financial models and analyses to support critical strategic, financial, and operational decisionsManage and prioritize requests for resources and investments. Evaluate and recommend based on return-on-investment analysis. Track and review actual performance to ensure achievement of business case.Support the long range planning financial modelAssist with process and systems improvements to drive the company’s continued growth and scalingPerform ad-hoc analyses to support the growth of the business and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvementWhat we expect from you: BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field10+ years experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, investment banking or consulting. Prior experience in technology and software (SaaS) industry highly desirableExperience with General Ledger and Trial Balance dataExperience with financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion (HFM and Planning), Tableau, SFDCStrong analytical skills and complex modeling experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage deadlines and work under pressureIs highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem-solving involving financial modeling and working with large data setsHas proven experience working cross-functionally and is a thoughtful collaborator and great listener, keenly focused on understanding business challenges, building strong relationships, and driving impactPlease note: If the applicant is permanently located outside of Germany, Veeam reserves the right to decline the application for the position.
