Associate Electrical Engineer (m/w/d)

Job Summary:

Are you a passionate and skilled electrical engineer looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and supportive environment? Join our team as an Associate Electrical Engineer and help us drive success in our data center operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist with the planning, system design, system implementation, system maintenance support, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. Your Role and Responsibilities:

Dimensioning Cables and Wires: Calculate appropriate sizes for cables and wires to handle electrical loads safely and efficiently.

Dimensioning Protection Devices and Checking Their Selectivity: Specify protection devices like circuit breakers and fuses, ensuring they operate in a coordinated manner to isolate faults.

Creating Electrical Drawings (Network Diagrams): Develop detailed electrical drawings and network diagrams to guide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

Lighting Planning: Design and plan lighting systems to meet required illumination levels while ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with standards.

Digital Plant Documentation and Inventory Management: Maintain digital records and manage the inventory of all electrical systems and components within the plant.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Vocational training as an electrician/electronics technician or a completed bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering is mandatory

Experience: Several years of professional experience, ideally in the data center sector.

Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations.

Language Skills: Proficiency in both German and English.

Work Style: Independent, structured, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel within Germany as needed.
