Our client, a leading B2B ecommerce company, is in search of a Sales Executive dedicated to expanding their reach within the German market.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales by acquiring new buyers for our platform, participating actively in both local and international trade shows.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage with potential buyers, trade associations, and affiliates across Germany, alongside sourcing products on a global scale.
- Leverage expertise of the local market to pinpoint vital industries, businesses, and individuals that are a good fit for our platform, especially focusing on sectors where we already have a strong footprint.
- Serve as a prominent advocate for our company in Germany, promoting our brand, services, and the community of suppliers we support.
- Develop robust relationships with buyers by showcasing the advantages of using our platform for their sourcing needs.
- Inform buyers about our community of suppliers, emphasizing aspects such as quality assurance, competitive pricing, and dependable delivery.
- Assist new buyers with the registration process on our platform, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and resolving any issues that arise.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market demands, and the activities of competitors in Germany, and report these findings along with insights to the management team regularly.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in sales or business development, with a preference for backgrounds in sourcing or international trade.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the German market, including its key industries, buyer segments, and common sourcing practices.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining relationships with important stakeholders, along with exceptional networking capabilities.
- A self-driven, goal-oriented individual who can operate autonomously and consistently achieve or surpass sales goals.
- Must be fluent in German and English; additional language skills are a bonus.
- Availability to travel within Germany for trade shows and other industry events, and willingness to undertake occasional international trips.
- Proficiency in using online platforms and technological tools, including Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
