Position: Data Scientist with Azure- Algorithmic Trading

Location: Remote from the EU, with occasional onsite work in Essen, Germany

Type: Hybrid

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge algorithms and models to drive strategic decision-making in the field of algorithmic trading. Your work will directly impact the success and profitability of our trading strategies. You will implement, monitor, and improve machine learning models and pipelines and implement CI/CD pipelines and MLOps best practices.

Technical and Soft Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• At least 4 years as a data scientist or similar, with proven experience in developing and implementing algorithms for algorithmic trading
• Proficient in implementing AI/ML models for trading purposes
• Strong understanding of financial markets and trading strategies
• Strong ability to write Python code for model implementation, training, and feature engineering.
• Experience in setting up Azure Machine Learning and Data Factory pipelines.
• Familiarity with AzureDevOps, including CI/CD, backlog management, and sprint planning.
• Fluent English is mandatory;
• German proficiency is a plus
