The Role

As the Global Social Media Manager (Berlin based), you will be at the forefront of crafting visually captivating content for our brand's global presence and executing the social media strategy for the brand, using your video editing, content design, and graphic design skills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative flair, technical proficiency in editing tools (including Adobe Suite, Figma, and CapCut), and a deep understanding of social media. This multifaceted role involves creating engaging visual content that resonates with our diverse audience across various social media platforms.

 

 

Requirements

  • Content Creation and Curation: You live and breathe Social Media and know all latest trends and innovations. You can leverage your own extensive expertise in producing, editing, post-producing and implementing content and social media projects. This includes editing video footage, designing graphics, editing photos, and creating visually compelling stories that resonate with our diverse global audience.
  • Content Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the global brand team to create and implement a social media content strategy/plan, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence. This also includes guidelines/materials to support the wider Social Media team.
  • Ideation: Contribute and create ideas that enhance Fotografiska’s presence and audience engagement.
  • Tools Proficiency: Strong understanding of core video/photo editing tools, with a working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, Figma, and CapCut, to create impactful and polished social media content.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of social media content, using insights to refine and optimize future content for better engagement and reach.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, community, food and beverage and exhibition teams globally as well as locally, to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and events, this includes project management with different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Community Management: Responsible for supporting the management of multiple social media channels and their respective followers.  
  • Copywriting: Copywriting across paid and owned social media.
