The AM will report to the Area Business Development Manager and be part of the business development team. The AM owns and coordinates the customer relationship for assigned accounts, being responsible for driving business development for DNV Maritime’s service portfolio for ship owners and managers located in the area. You will be the primary liaison around commercial matters, delivering professional services to ensure customer satisfaction, supporting DNV’s Maritime business objectives and delivering sustainable value and commercial return.Responsibilities Ensure regular interaction through various marketing and communication channels with assigned accounts to maintain long-term business relationships and meet customer expectations Identify and follow up on leads, opportunities, and quotations Keep an overview of current contracts and initiate adequate actions to ensure the continuity of business relationships Identify promising assigned accounts to be further developed into Key Accounts Review and analyze customer satisfaction Coordinate technical support between our customers and our expert organization and follow up pro-actively Consistently increase DNV’s share of wallet with the customers and actively pitch them to the customer base Positively contribute to DNV’s online presence by active usage of relevant platforms such as LinkedIn About youPersonal qualities Self-driven and highly engaged, with the ability to motivate others Excellent communication and influencing skills obtained in a sales/customer relationship management environment High level of personal impact and energy with evidence of dealing with constraints in achieving delivery Inspired by taking ownership and working in a global network Demonstrated capacity for continuous learning on the job Competence needs Educated to a technical standard, preferably with a degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture, or with a commercial background and technical expertise in the shipping industry Proven knowledge of the Maritime sector and its competitive environment Experience in sales of technical services, sales administration, or customer service Demonstrated commercial awareness and customer-centricity IT savvy with expertise in all MS Office applications and CRM software Fluent business German and English Ability to travel domestically We offerThe right candidate will enjoy working with a highly engaged team in an environment where trust, teamwork and innovation are core values.
