This is an entry-level position, so you don’t need prior experience (don’t worry, we’ll provide training). However, we do expect you to possess certain qualities that will ensure your success and allow you to thrive in our culture.
As a Junior Vinyl Record Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring vinyl record pressing machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality records. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining production standards, meeting quality targets, and contributing to the success of our vinyl pressing operations.
This full-time position requires a flexible presence Monday through Saturday, with the possibility of overtime.

TasksKey Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operation: Operate vinyl record pressing machines in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal production output.
2. Quality Control: Conduct visual and audio inspections of pressed records to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and address any defects or imperfections in the finished product, such as surface blemishes or audio discrepancies.
3. Material Handling: Load vinyl pellets, labels, and sleeves into the pressing machine, ensuring proper alignment and distribution. Monitor material levels and replenish supplies as needed to prevent production interruptions.
4. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including settings logs, run times, and any issues encountered during the pressing process. Communicate effectively with shift leads and supervisors to report production status and any potential issues.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on pressing machines to ensure they remain in good working condition. Clear any jams or blockages promptly to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel immediately.
Requirements- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (vinyl experience a plus, but not a requirement)
- Familiarity with operating machinery and basic mechanical principles
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
