As a Packaging Engineer (m/f/d) you will bring the latest packaging innovations to the market. You will work with various experts on the realization of flexible packaging (paper and plastic), digital and flexographic printing, coatings and much more. With your work, you accelerate the path towards more sustainable/circular packaging. 

As part of the Siegwerk Group, you will build on the stable foundation of a global player with 180 years of packaging expertise. At the same time, you will help shape the future of Packiro with your process knowledge and project experience.

• You participate in packaging development projects, from conceptualisation to final market launch
• You create and revise packaging specifications, conformity declarations, and technical drawings, as well as test and control parameters to ensure our product quality
• You are involved in the validation of new products at various production sites throughout Europe and contribute to preparing them for scaling
• You support in conducting quality inspections and participate in designing internal workflows and processes

• You have graduated and ideally have initial experience in the development of plastic packaging, preferably flexible packaging in the packaging or consumer goods industry
• You are familiar with digital and flexo printing
• You work in an organized manner and have knowledge in project management
• Very good English skills are a must (C1), German skills are advantageous (B2 and above)
• You are a self-motivated team player with a high degree of independence
