What we offer
We are seeking a Trainee in Sales Business Support to join our growing team. As a Trainee, you will be fully integrated into the EMEA Channel team and will be responsible for supporting our international customer service team, global customers, and multiple departments within ST.
During the 2-year trainee program, you will learn, grow, and take ownership in supporting challenging and business focused tasks. Our ST trainee program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience across multiple departments and domains you are interested in within our site in Germany and abroad. You will have the chance to shape your path and work with multiple customers or across other teams within our Sales & Marketing teams, and sites abroad.
Your first assignment will start with the EMEA Channel team, where you will have the opportunity to influence ST's internal and external reputation as a technology leader by working with a variety of different stakeholders from different backgrounds, expertise, cultures, and countries.
Main deliverables and experiences gained are:
· Support and successfully execute ST inside sales and quote activity in assigned product families for Channel EMEA in synergy with ST Product Divisions, Marketing and Sales to achieve the budget, market share gain and customer satisfaction.
· Implement ST pricing strategy for assigned product families to provide the best pricing efficiency in terms of margin and competitiveness.
· Expand your knowledge base of the assigned product families, the market requirements and trends, the ST competition, pricing guidelines and resale analysis.
· Collaborate and interact with distributors to support communication of rules and guidelines associated with ST quote processes.
· Prepare and present Distributor Quote performance results on a regular basis.
· Collaborate with Marketing and Division teams to align on pricing and market trends to establish applicable quoting guidelines for your assigned products.
· Prepare and present Quote Escalation performance and Price Matrix effectivity on a regular basis.

Profile
What we are looking for:
· Prior experience in wholesale trading or retail sales
· Results-driven approach, strong analytical, organizing and planning skills.
· Computer skills and the daily use of Microsoft Office 365 are a prerequisite, knowledge of SAP, SFDC and Power BI are an advantage.
· Very good written and oral communication, presentation and negotiation skills in German and English, knowledge of French and/or Italian is an advantage.
· Willingness to travel (10-20%) and must hold a valid/current Class B Driver’s License.
· Independent, reliable, and relish working collaboratively with others.
· Passion for high-tech topics
· Highly flexible and can work effectively in high stress situations.
· Can cooperate successfully and work well with international teams.
· Love to learn and have the courage to develop as a person.
· Ability to work in an international & intercultural environment.
