We at Deck13 Spotlight GmbH understand game development and we have a lot of experience in how to market and distribute games. As part of Deck13, the team established a publishing service under the “Deck13 Spotlight” label, to help independent developers bring their projects to wider audiences. Deck13 Spotlight is a growing division with an experienced team and access to major console markets. For more than 10 published games such as CrossCode and Chained Echoes, Deck13 managed Producing, Localization, QA, Marketing, PR & Distribution.

To continue our success story, we are now looking for you to join our team as our new Intern - Marketing & Video Content (m/f/d).

Responsibilities:

• Create and work on various marketing assets (e.g. Social Media Posts, Screenshots, Trailers)
• Work on one of Germany's biggest AA games, as well as some Indie titles
• Take on responsibility and direct your own tasks within a framework of support and trust
• Work closely with teams from all around the world, helping them maximize their reach

Requirements:

• You are an enrolled student in the fields of marketing or similar
• You have a good understanding of video games, their audiences and Social Media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (German and English)
• Knowledge of Adobe Programs (Premiere/Photoshop/After Effects) or similar editing software
• Previous experiences with Social Media marketing or community management is a plus
• Pro-active and self-motivated attitude
