Timo Hönig forscht richtungsweisend auf diesen Gebieten und sucht zur weiteren Verstärkung unseres Teams ab dem nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine*n wissenschaftliche*n Mitarbeiter*in mit dem Qualifikationsziel einer Promotion (Vollzeit TV-L E13, befristet auf 3 Jahre).We are looking for a scientist with an internationally visible research profile who will complement existing focal points and actively participate in the development of the Faculty of Computer Science. The responsibilities of the professorship include teaching in computer science-related degree programs and an appropriate contribution to academic self-administration.Excellent scientific qualifications are required, usually demonstrated by a PhD of outstanding quality and first-class international publications (e.g. VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, KDD, WWW), as well as good didactic skills and experience in teaching and research. Furthermore, the willingness to work interdisciplinary and to acquire third-party funded research projects is expected.The professorship will be established within the framework of a Bund-Länder-Programm zur Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses. The appointment to the position is linked to tenure track for the appointment to a W2 professorship.
