The responsibilities of the professorship include teaching in computer science-related degree programs and an appropriate contribution to academic self-administration.Excellent scientific qualifications are required, usually demonstrated by a PhD of outstanding quality and first-class international publications (e.g. VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, KDD, WWW), as well as good didactic skills and experience in teaching and research. Furthermore, the willingness to work interdisciplinary and to acquire third-party funded research projects is expected.The professorship will be established within the framework of a Bund-Länder-Programm zur Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses.
