As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and experienced Department Manager to lead our FVL International transport team.​

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee transportation plans by road, rail and short-sea out of automotive factories in Central Europe.
• Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to achieve ship-out targets, including the development of new routes.
• Help design the rail network to meet mid-term targets.
• Enhance the working environment, support individual and department growth, and foster collaboration within and across teams.
• Set, cascade, and monitor department targets and KPIs; implement countermeasures when necessary.
• Simplify and automate reporting processes; conduct reviews with suppliers and customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to boost sales and satisfaction; promptly address inquiries and concerns to maintain loyalty.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify growth opportunities and coordinate with logistics to streamline processes, minimize delays, and optimize shipping data.
• Monitor and track ship-out volumes and stock levels in various locations to ensure targets and operational flexibility are met.

Your profile

• Preferred background in Finished Vehicle Logistics, SCM, Logistics, or Transportation Management.
• 7-10+ years of experience in logistics and a leadership position.
• Strong planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to make prompt judgments and take decisive action.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Comprehensive market understanding.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle logistics, distribution networks, and supply chain management.
• Extensive understanding of market dynamics within the automotive industry, including emerging trends, competitor analysis, and customer demands.
• High level of responsibility and accountability for the outcomes of FVL operations.
• Ability to make critical decisions under pressure, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards, and managing resources effectively to meet organizational goals.
