As we evolve, we're seeking a talented Key Account Manager in Germany to contribute to our success story in the German market.
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding our presence in the solar industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of PVO International's German operations. Our German team currently exists of 5 people.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage with potential clients, including project developers, corporates, distributors, EPC companies, and large residential entities;
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships;
- Act as the primary point of contact and develop a deep understanding of clients' needs and objectives;
- Meet and exceed sales targets by proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities;
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements;
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments and competitor activities;
- Provide insights and feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services;
- Position PVO International as a key player in the solar industry within Germany;
- Collaborate closely with the existing German team and Sales Manager to align strategies and achieve common goals;
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute constructively to discussions about market dynamics and opportunities.
Qualifications/requirements
- Proven experience in a sales position;
- Knowledge and network within the solar or related industry;
- Residing in Germany;
- A target-driven mindset with a track record of client acquisition and closing deals;
- Strong negotiation and communication skills;
- Proficient in both English (in company) and German languages;
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization;
- Respectful and professional demeanor in all interactions.

Your profile
- You are commercially driven, proactive, and possess natural persuasive skills;
- Results-oriented with a professional attitude;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in German and English;
- Thrive in a dynamic and fast-growing environment;
- Have a Bachelor's degree (HBO) level of education;
- Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in Sales and the Solar industry.
