(Geo)data is the foundation of credium. We are looking for a highly motivated intern or working student to join our Data Engineering team at credium for at least 6 months and 20 hours per week. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering while working with a dynamic and innovative AI startup. You will quickly be given responsibilities, enabling you to grow and develop your skills rapidly.

• Data Pipelines Development: You assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes, ensuring efficient data flow and processing.

• Cross-team Collaboration: You partner with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to understand data requirements and contribute to effective data solutions, aligning with credium's mission to innovate with geodata.

• Product Documentation: You support documentation, data cleaning, data analysis, and insights generation, maintaining high standards of data quality across various platforms and systems.

• Data Quality: You ensure the accuracy and reliability of our building data across multiple platforms and systems, contributing to the overall integrity of our geodata foundation.

• Professional Experience and Educational Background: You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field

• Basic database knowledge: You have familiarity with SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., Postgres, Oracle, MSS)

• Cloud Experience: You have an understanding of cloud platforms, with Azure being a plus.

• Communication Skills: You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English (and ideally German), and can contribute effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Programming Skills: You have programming experience (e.g., Python, OOPL) and an interest in learning PySpark.

• Geospatial Data: You have experience with geospatial data (PostGIS, QGIS, etc.) as a plus.

• Startup Mindest: You have experience in a startup environment, show eagerness to learn, can work independently and in a team, and are willing to go the extra mile.
