Internship F&B Operations (mandatory)
Slowness is a collective of People, Places and Projects that reframe the way we live, work and interact. Drawing insights from regenerative agriculture, adaptive reuse and the slow movement, we are currently developing places around the world that offer a deeper, more conscious and collaborative form of hospitality.
The Flussbad Campus is our new emerging home for adventurous culture and ideas in Berlin. Beginning its phased opening in 2023, Flussbad encompasses exhibition spaces, gastronomy, creative studios and workspaces, holistic health offerings and a semi-subterranean performance space inspired by ancient temples—all integrated into the wild riverfront environment.
AufgabenWith the recent opening of the Reethaus, our performance space at Flussbad, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented F&B Intern to support the F&B Director. We will offer you an unparalleled internship experience in a beautiful location on the Spree River in Berlin-Rummelsburg.
- Assist in managing day-to-day F&B operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events, including menu development and coordination.
- Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and Operations teams on various projects and initiatives to improve overall F&B performance at Flussbad.
You should have a deep knowledge of and genuine interest in trends within the hospitality world. You identify with the principles and ethos of Slowness, and ideally look to convert the internship into a long-term employment. You should be energetic and detail-oriented, with a passion for culture, design, hospitality, and travel. We value candidates who take initiative, are solutions-oriented, and quick with creative thinking. You will contribute to a working environment that is respectful, team-oriented, and open to dialogue. Your communication skills in English (written and spoken) should be excellent. Your internship should be mandatory as part of your studies / university program.
