Altius Talent is excited to partner with a leading global freight forwarder in the search for a highly motivated and experienced Global Account Manager. This pivotal role will be based out of either Hamburg or Bremen, two of Germany’s most dynamic logistics hubs.

As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a Global Account Manager who will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing key client relationships on an international scale, driving growth and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Global Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and growing their relationships with leading customers:

• Conduct in-depth analysis to support and expand the existing business portfolio of assigned clients.
• Identify opportunities for growth within customer accounts and develop tailored solutions.
• Design and implement cross-business, global strategies and concepts to drive success.
• Manage and optimize processes, serving as the central contact point within the supply chain.
• Create and maintain global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with tender management to coordinate and secure new business opportunities.
• Work closely with management to ensure profitability and success of customer accounts.

Requirements

• Completed training or a degree in logistics or a related field.
• Several years of experience in sales and/or account management within a logistics service provider.
• Experience working with the chemical industry is desirable but not essential.
• Strong negotiation abilities and excellent communication skills, including fluency in German & English.
• Ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
