Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team and manage the centralised relationship with MediaMarkt in Germany. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and account management within the consumer electronics or retail industry, with a strong focus on driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales and maximize revenue within Media Markt
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Media Markt, including buyers, category managers, and store managers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop tailored solutions and promotions to meet the needs of Media Markt and its end consumers
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and address potential challenges
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional agreements, and terms of sale to ensure alignment with company objectives
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights to senior management


Requirements:


  • Experience in sales and account management, preferably within the consumer electronics or retail industry
  • Proven track record of success in managing key retail accounts [ideally MSH] and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the German retail market, particularly within the consumer electronics sector
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
