Marketing Manager - EMEA

Summary

Mustad aims to grow competencies in the EMEA market with an experienced marketing expert with proven results in consumer brand marketing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing tactics for sport fishing equipment in EMEA. The candidate will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. A strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail is crucial for this role. 

Mission

  • Ensuring that marketing strategies and tactics are executed effectively for the EMEA region.
  • Adapt and implement Mustad brands’ global marketing strategies purposefully and effectively.
  • Lead and drive brand and consumer marketing to build brand awareness through “on brand” content generated in-house and through partners.
  • Support distributors and dealers with trade marketing.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and Production Development teams to ensure these strategies are aligned with the company's directions and goals.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee regional marketing strategy and tactics, prioritizing direct sales markets.
  • Oversee regional brand marketing tactics in cooperation with distribution clients.
  • Develop strong “on-brand” content in-house and through Mustad's network of ambassadors, influencers, and pro-staff to support channel marketing and launches.
  • Work closely with North America’s Marketing Director to co-create brand campaigns, ad creative and supporting product positioning assets.
  • Draft compelling sales copy to support product packaging, web assets, copy decks and public relations content.
  • Plan and execute regional marketing campaigns, adhering to brand identity.
  • Manage EMEA marketing budget amongst projects (budget set within P&L).
  • Represent Mustad brands externally to all EMEA (and international media organizations).
  • Organize and supervise promotional events and key consumer/trade shows.
  • Drive Mustad's regional influencer program and be direct contact for key brand representatives.
  • Support marketing, sales, and PD with market intel.
  • Identify and evaluate competitor strategies and positioning.



Qualifications

  • Proven track record within consumer brand marketing.
  • Preferable experience within the sport fishing industry. Alternatively consumer marketing experience within related industries such as sports, recreational, outdoor etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and organization skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of running content creation and branding via an external network of ambassadors, preferably within the sport fishing industry
  • Analytical skills, e.g. web analytics experience
  • Speak multiple business languages (Marketing, Social Media, Design, IT, Digital)
  • Entrepreneurial and enjoy building and leveraging brand marketing
  • Fluent English and additional European language
  • Located in central Europe or the Mediterranean
