Summary:

In this role you will own the design and delivery of Financial Group Consolidation solutions for our customers. We are looking for a candidate with a good understanding of the accounting and business processes behind the Financial Consolidation of multinational groups, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and who will be able to implement effective Consolidation solutions for our customers

Primary Responsibilities:

• The focus of your work will be advising our clients, from a wide range of industries, on the implementation of Consolidation / Group Accounting solutions
• You will support our clients in the preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with national and international accounting standards.
• You will take over the management of projects or sub-projects in the area of:
• Consolidation in accordance with HGB, UGB, Swiss GAAP and IFRS,
• Corporate Disclosure Management,
• Financial planning / forecasting,
• Conducting workshops to review customer requirements
• Creation of professional and technical designs
• Implementation of the solution based on your design
• Implementation of training courses at and for our customers

Achievements/Goals within first 6-12 months

• Comprehensive one-week onboarding program
• Quick ramp up on IDL product offering with the objective to become billable within weeks and fully independent within 6 months
• Become a trusted advisor to the customers with whom you are working within 6 months
  
  

• You have completed your studies in economics with a focus on accounting, auditing or controlling or have a relevant education with corresponding professional experience
• You are a German speaker, native or bilingual
• You have at least three years of practical experience in accounting according to HGB, IFRS and/or US GAAP as well as relevant experience in group consolidation.
• Very good handling of common MS Office programs as well as experience with one or more of the following products: IDL Konsis, SAP SEM-BCS/EC-CS, Tagetik, LucaNet, other consolidation software solutions
• A very good understanding of numbers and a systematic and goal-oriented way of working as well as good written and spoken English skills are a matter of course for you.
• Flexibility, ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility and a convincing appearance
• High customer orientation
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Hands-on mentality.
  
  

Whilst most of the work is likely to take place remotely, you should be able to travel to meet with customers for face-to-face meetings on a regular basis
