Position Overview:

As a Private Equity Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the investment team across all stages of the investment process. This includes sourcing potential investment opportunities, conducting rigorous financial and market analysis, performing due diligence, and assisting in the execution of transactions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior team members and gain exposure to a diverse range of industries and business models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including modeling and valuation, to assess potential investment opportunities.
• Assist in the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources, including financial statements, industry reports, and market research.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials to support investment decisions.
• Monitor portfolio company performance, including tracking key financial metrics and operational milestones.
• Collaborate with management teams of portfolio companies to support strategic initiatives and growth plans.
• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitive dynamics to identify new investment opportunities.
• Support the team in deal execution, including negotiation and transaction documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or a similar field.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with a solid understanding of valuation techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
