Engineering Manager- Go, K8s, SRE - 120k | Berlin

Our toolbox includes cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes operators and cloud-native solutions like ArgoCD and Prometheus, complemented by our own proprietary developments.

Role Overview:

In this pivotal role, you'll lead our efforts to enhance the reliability and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure. You'll spearhead the development of innovative tools, guide our team in adopting best practices, and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise in operations, software development, coupled with a deep understanding of cloud environments and Kubernetes, will be instrumental in driving our platform's evolution.

Responsibilities:

• Drive recruitment and talent acquisition efforts.
• Provide leadership in team development and personnel management.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of internal tooling, in consultation with stakeholders.
• Take ownership of internal tools, acting as a product owner and maintainer.
• Contribute to strategic decisions regarding overall architecture.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of multiple platforms, optimizing processes as needed.

Qualifications:

• An agile mindset and experience with modern software development methodologies.
• Proven leadership experience, ideally in both software development and IT platform operations.
• Strong proficiency in software development, with expertise in GoLang being highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud environments and Kubernetes "under the hood".
• Experience in managing IT platforms based on Linux and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SRE and tools such as: Prometheus, Grafana and Loki.
• Infrastructure skills in Terraform, ArgoCD and Ansible are desirable
• Experience with Systems engineering is a big plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German (B2+ level) is a plus.
