Construction Junior Project Manager - Europe

On behalf of a client we are recruiting for a Junior Project Manager - Europe.
Projects within the EU to follow. There is an opportunity for long term career and advancement with an EU Market Leader.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be required to work on various sites across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring adequate labor presence on-site and compliance with Health & Safety regulations across all projects.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of site inspection practices to ensure high-quality installations and finished products, including quality assurance plans and inspection report regimes.
- Support the creation and updating of site-specific risk assessments and method statements as needed throughout the project.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the project program using Microsoft Project, ensuring on-site adherence and updates as necessary.
- Attend site coordination meetings alongside senior project management.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to gain an understanding of the project from a commercial perspective by familiarizing yourself with the Bill of Quantities.
- Ensure that installation labor costs and preliminary expenses are in line with estimates.
- Assist in re-measuring completed works on-site and reporting to senior management.
- Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries and enforce quality checks on-site.
- Maintain strong working relationships with site operatives and the main contractor/client.
- Ensure all on-site work adheres to safe working practices and current Health & Safety legislation, maintaining vigilance for potential hazards and encouraging the same among all site personnel.
- Protect the company's interests by documenting and reporting relevant site events promptly and contractually, including maintaining daily site diaries and photographic records.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A degree in construction or a related field; a degree in construction science or engineering is preferred.
- One year of experience in the roofing/cladding sector in a project management capacity is advantageous.
- Knowledge of roofing construction methods and practices, including safety codes and regulations.
- Strong communication, supervision, and management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Excellent IT and organizational skills.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- A valid driver's license.
- Eligibility to work in Europe without visa sponsorship.
