I am partnered with a client based in Germany who are looking to recruit an experienced Head of IT. The role will involve leading a team of IT professionals and taking responsibility for the entire IT department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure, setting up and maintaining systems, ensuring IT security protocols are followed and adhered to, and dealing with any IT related issues.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of development team members.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other departments to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using C# and .NET technologies.
• Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous delivery practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct regular code reviews and technical audits to maintain code quality and security standards.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within software development, preferably within the C# .NET environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
