Currently Mativ is looking for a Key Account Manager based in Germany to grow and focus on external customer / new business prospects and to deliver revenue growth and increased profitability against defined target/s.
We want to hire an expert of the Building Material Distribution sales process in the consumable/light material sector of large local or pan European organization
The primary responsibility is the overall management of a portfolio of strategic customer relationships, to capture more “customer wallet”, delivering revenue growth and increase profitability against defined budgets.
Key tasks and focus areas
- Deliver Budgeted Revenue for direct accounts and contribute to sales growth of the segment, in collaboration with the sales team.
- Negotiate annual contract including prices, rebate structure and marketing plan with Key Accounts assigned, increasing Scapa market share.
- Develop pipeline and convert new strategic account in the assigned region.
- Deliver budgeted growth at Strategic and Potential accounts.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies for the Business Unit. Prepare and present compelling customer proposals.
- Provide regular feedback within the Business Unit on emerging market trends as represented by Strategic customers.
Essential skills:
- Fluent English. Other Language skills a very big plus.
- Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to develop relationships, negotiate and close business.
- Performance Orientation/Growth Orientation – Hunter mentality.
- Strategic Commercial Acumen.
- Relationship Building and Decision Making Acumen.
Essential experience and qualifications:
- Must have a related qualification/degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven sales success managing major customer/ corporate accounts, in the consumable/light materials supplies via the Building Material DistributionsectorExisting Book of Business/Customer Contacts in this account environment is key success factor.
- Cultural awareness is essential.
- Excellent presentation skills, including business research methods, report and presentation building.
- Must have an advanced understanding of ERP systems as they relate to a Sales organization.
