Key Responsibilities:

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing localised digital marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and drive consumer engagement. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Designing and Executing Digital Campaigns: Develop and implement local digital marketing campaigns in line with the overall strategy, tailored to key digital touchpoints, such as social media, websites, and search engines.
  • SEO/SEA Management: Lead the implementation of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and SEA (Search Engine Advertising) strategies to maximise search engine visibility and performance.
  • Website Management: Oversee the local website’s functionality, ensuring it is user-friendly, on-brand, and optimised for search engines.
  • Acquisition Campaigns: Lead local acquisition-focused campaigns through paid advertising channels (PPC, social media) and owned media to generate leads and grow the consumer base.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimisation: Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and suggest improvements to optimise strategies and enhance results.
  • Content Development: Create and manage localised digital content that aligns with the company’s objectives and resonates with the target audience.
  • Agency Management: Work closely with local digital marketing agencies to ensure campaign effectiveness and adherence to brand standards.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Support the local marketing team by sharing your digital marketing expertise and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Digital Advocate: Act as a digital marketing leader within the company, contributing to the global digital strategy and collaborating with international teams.


Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Related Field: A degree in marketing, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven Digital Marketing Experience: Several years of experience in B2B/B2C digital marketing within the consumer goods industry.
  • SEO, Paid Media, and Automation Expertise: Strong knowledge of inbound marketing, SEO, paid media, and marketing automation. Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook/LinkedIn Business Manager is essential.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyse data and insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and work as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with additional languages skills in German desired.
