IT Business Analyst

To join our client in North Germany, we are seeking experienced Business Analysts to manage company applications and lead their enhancement.

In this role, you will oversee the entire software lifecycle, ensuring efficient and secure operations, whilst driving the ongoing development of applications in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full application lifecycle, from development and deployment to maintenance and optimisation, ensuring reliable and high-performance operations.
• Collaborate with international teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to drive updates, improvements, and strategic application developments.
• Coordinate the rollout of new software releases, ensuring compliance with governance processes and policies.
• Monitor and adjust service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations to maintain high-quality service standards.
• Develop and implement long-term application strategies that align with company objectives, identifying and integrating new technology trends where relevant.
• Manage budgets and participate in related projects to ensure cost-effectiveness and successful project delivery.
• Provide comprehensive documentation and analysis, contributing to technology roadmaps and ensuring readiness for future implementations.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports, ensuring full compliance with SLAs and internal policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a business analyst or in a similar role, ideally within IT or application management.
• Strong understanding of the full application lifecycle, including development, deployment, integration, and maintenance.
• Proven experience in managing projects in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Expertise in best practices and emerging trends in application management.
• Fluent in English and German, with strong proficiency in MS Office 365.
• A proactive, hands-on approach, strong teamwork and communication skills, and an economically-driven mindset.
