About the Role
A professional organisation hosting a knowledge-sharing event is seeking a beginner or junior videographer to document their upcoming conference. This two-day event, taking place in Berlin on October 10th and 11th, 2024, will bring together approximately 150 in-person attendees and 50 remote participants. The selected videographer will be responsible for capturing the essence of the event and conducting brief interviews with key participants. This opportunity is ideal for an up-and-coming videographer looking to gain experience in event documentation and build their portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Film the entirety of conference over two full days
- Capture key moments, presentations, and interactions among attendees
- Conduct and film 3-4 short interviews with selected participants
- Document the overall atmosphere and energy of the event
- Ensure high-quality audio and video capture throughout the conference
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate experience in videography and video editing
- Proficiency with video recording equipment and editing software
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site
- Excellent eye for composition and detail
- Good interpersonal skills for conducting brief interviews with participants
