Theexchange with other global Edgewell Personal Care (EPC) sites tocoordinate the global strategy and demands is also part of thisfunction. Leads in creating strategic category plans, businesscontinuity procedures, service level management, step change incost optimization and innovation. Assures that all suppliers areselected, certified and are managed in accordance with theCorporate and Procurement guidelines. Here's a sample of what you'll get up to: • Support thecreation, development and execution of category managementstrategies and activities with a focus on warehouse anddistribution services. • Responsible for selection and managementof supplier base for area of responsibility including sourcing,marketplace trends, supplier agility, quality parameters, costreductions, new product initiatives, supplier performance, andother relevant supplier relationship management activities. •Responsible for the negotiation on the Total Cost of Ownership,product / service quality. Carrying out market analyses andbenchmarks to identify and realize potential savings. • Overseesthe development and execution of sourcing strategies inside managedcategories including the developing the plan to meet targets,managing to timelines and developing resource plans whilemaximizing effect spend under management • Responsible fordeveloping long term strategic supplier direction; potentialsourcing alternatives; coordinate new product / service activitiesand alternatives with Logistics, Production, Engineering, etc. •Responsible for preparation of Purchasing inputs to the annual Planof Purchase and providing input to cost accounting budgetingprocesses. • Negotiation and conclusion of master service levelagreements (MSAs), taking into account legal and businessrequirements Profil Are You Ready to Show Us What You've Got?Ideally you will have Procurement or Logistics experience gainedwithin a commercial or consumer goods company. While yourexperience is of course important, we're all about making usefulthings joyful, so we love when our prospective candidates arepassionate about this too. Here's what we are looking for: •Minimum commercial apprenticeship including graduation in businessadministration from chamber of commerce (Betriebswirt IHK) ORBachelor's degree in Supply Chain • Solid experience, significantexperience in procurement, logistics or related field. •Understanding of basic principles of accounting andbusiness/contract law. • Demonstrated experience in developingbusiness requirements, category analysis and design, develop andadminister appropriate vendor acquisition tools (RFQ/ RFP). •Demonstrated experience in establishing competent and agreed uponmeasurement mechanisms to ensure the ongoing success of projects •Proven track record in delivery of complex procurement initiativeson time and on budget • Strong proven analytical skills • Extremelystrong teamwork and facilitation skills to work with other companydepartments to plan and execute on strategic sourcing strategies. •Outstanding negotiation and sourcing skills with proven ability tolead key stakeholders and team members through category wideRequest for Proposals (RFPs) and strategic vendor selectionprocesses. • Strong Management and Interpersonal skills to include:oral and written communication skills, ability to motivate othersand facilitate team building between business stakeholders. •Results oriented, demonstrate success in leading project teams toachieving quantifiable savings by applying sourcing methods. •Business level German and English is a must.
