This role requires a goodunderstanding of consultative sales, solution and interdisciplinarycollaboration experience are a must to be successful. The role isresponsible for developing cross-functional relationships with newand existing customers in a culturally and geographically diversemarket. The SMM must have an ability to consistently follow-up andbring multi-year projects to a close, while meeting quarterly andannual performance objectives. The primary role objectives are:Tasks: Sales Growth · Develop and maintain good relationships forgiven territory (South of Germany, Austria and CEE) · Manageaccounts in territory and share insights and intelligence ·Consistently update and work from customer relationship management(CRM) tool · Develop new customers and new business to meetterritory sales growth objectives · Follow up quickly on marketingleads generated, ensure consistent messages and needs are addressedwhen leads are routed · Promote company products and capabilitiesvia customer meetings, industry exhibitions and technical seminars· Attend regional association meetings, networking and becomemember as necessary to expand Coveris's presence in the region ·Interface regularly with commercial and PDTS leaders regarding newproduct and new market opportunities · Identify target accounts andcreate a strategy for closing new business in the region · Uncoverprice targets and competitive information for the region KeyAccount Maintenance · Understand the customer's market, financialresults, and buying cycles · Manage key account forecasts andassist with forecast and budget process · Capture and communicatecompetitor activities / understand share of wallet · Maintain greatcustomer relationships and maintain high level of customersatisfaction at all levels · Maintain marketing databases includinglead follow up and maintenance from existing accounts · Communicatecustomer specifications and requirements to our organizationRequired Qualifications: · Background in Marketing, Sales, GeneralBusiness, Engineering, preferred in the medical device orpharmaceutical packaging industry. · 4+ years of successfulbusiness development experience required · A record of buildinggreat customer relationships · Strong presentation skills required· Strong negotiating and closing skills · Computer and businesswriting competency · Ability to travel 30-50% of the timeinternationally · Languages: Business German and English. A realpré would also be Polish, Czech or Hungarian.
