Key Responsibilities - Working within a team toexecute M&A transactions including; preparation of marketingmaterials, development and review of due diligence reports, generalfinancial analysis and overall process coordination - Running anddeveloping financial and operating models for marketing andtransaction purposes - Working with an experienced senior team in acollaborative work environment - Examining the strategic andfinancial merits of proposed transactions for marketing purposes -Constructing economic models and performing financial analysis ofcompanies and assets - Working within a team assisting seniors inpreparing marketing materials, information memoranda and datarooms, and coordinating the team’s (transaction) processes -Supporting cross-business development initiatives and executinglive transactions to include: in-depth market research (e.g.identification of acquirers/targets, transactions, marketactivity); detailed company profiling and analysis; compiling andmanaging databases; assisting with production of clientpresentations and documents (e.g. pitch books, process timetablesand letters, valuation materials, etc.) - Involvement in clientmeetings and on client calls - Project management skills - Helpingto develop skill set and product/sector expertise of analysts inthe team - Working well with others within and across group andlearning from existing team expertise - Demonstrating integrity,being seen as a respected role model, Coaching, developing andmotivating the Analyst - Maintaining professionalism at all timesand encouraging others to do so Skills & Experience Thefollowing skills and experience are required for this role: -Strong academic background; 1-2 years of investment banking,M&A advisory or related experience - Strong project managementskills. Able to manage multiple projects and workstreamseffectively, delivering high quality work on schedule - Highlynumerate with solid financial modelling skills - Rigorous attentionto detail - Ability to work autonomously while also participatingcollaboratively as part of a team - Team-oriented with excellentinterpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - FluentGerman speaker is essential
