We are seeking a mathematician with a focus inGeometry /Topology in the broad sense. The professorship shallstrengthen or complement the research areas Geometry and Topologyrepresented at the Institute for Mathematics. Furthermore, theprofessorship should actively contribute to the Research StationGeometry & Dynamics. Acquisition of and participation in thirdparty funded projects such as CRC/TRR 191 is desired. According tothe applicable regulations for Juniorprofessors(Lehrverpflichtungsverordnung Baden-Württemberg), the teaching loadis four hours per week. The regulations concerning evaluation canbe accessed through the Human Resources Division of HeidelbergUniversity. The professorship is a temporary qualificationposition. In accordance with Article 51 (Higher Education Act ofthe state Baden-Württemberg), this appointment requires a completeddegree, an excellent doctorate, and pedagogical aptitude which hasgenerally been proven through teaching experience.
