Head of Risk and Compliance : The Function

• Serve as the subject-matter expert on regulatory frameworks such as AML-CTF, GDPR, DAC6, and international sanctions regimes.
• Ensure the firm's practices comply with current and upcoming legal requirements.
• Oversee the client onboarding process and ongoing compliance monitoring.
• Support legal teams with the drafting and negotiation of client engagement terms.
• Maintain GDPR registers, ensure compliance with data retention policies, and manage DAC6 notifications.
• Maintain and update internal policies, templates, and risk assessments.
• Respond to queries related to risk management, professional conduct, and complaints.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for staff, promoting a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Head of Risk and Compliance : Your Profile

• A Master's degree in Law, with at least 7 years of experience in risk management or compliance, ideally within an international environment or law firm in Luxembourg.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and legislation.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English and French.
• A commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in compliance and risk management.
