Junior Buyer (m/f/d)
As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for the product development of the Rugs category, handling all your projects from start to finish and managing stakeholder expectations from the Quality, Creative, and Product Management teams. Supplier management will play a significant role in your daily activities, including engaging in meetings with them as well as with our agents and the Asia office. You will also be responsible for calculating product margins and quantities for initial placement orders, ensuring on-time delivery. Please submit your application documents in English. WHAT YOU'LL DO- oversee product development of the Rugs category from inception to going live on the website
- lead product development procedures, production follow-up, and supply base management to ensure optimal buying opportunities for the category
- source new suppliers, conduct competitive quotations, and re-source existing products, seeking cost-saving opportunities while enhancing product value for money
- cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers, collaborating to prevent and resolve issues, and developing growth and improvement action plans
- work directly with key buying stakeholders: Quality, Creative, and Product Management teams
- experience as a junior buyer in a fast-paced environment
- a proactive, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work, with a strong hands-on mentality
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- strong knowledge of MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- excellent English skills; German skills are an advantage
