IT Manager / ERP Program Manager - with IFS experience
Our client is an established and successful Manufacturing business, part of a group which has gone through exciting growth and is expanding across Europe.
The role will lead IT service delivery in Germany and to play a key part in modernizing the IT landscape. A key task will be the ERP migration, in close alignment with Group IT. This position will lead the ERP (IFS) Programme, as well as spanning control over broader IT Delivery across the business.
You will need to be an experienced technology leader with a track record of driving technology-enabled business change. You must be able to operate hands-on in a multi-site environment.
Previous experience in leading successful ERP programs, particularly focused on IFS solutions (ideally in FMCG or Manufacturing environments) is essential.
Candidates will need knowledge of IFS solutions and the skills to lead the IT agenda for a key business as part of a larger organisation.
- Deliver an ERP replacement program and related application development plan
- Develop and lead the local IT Team - assess team capabilities and address ongoing needs and any gaps, with particular reference to the proposed ERP Program
- Drive modernization of Infrastructure, Applications and IT operational processes
- Optimise the IT cost structure
- Maintain and improve IT service levels, introducing new KPI targets and SLA's where necessary
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of ERP implementations (particularly IFS solutions)
- Preferably experience in the FMCG and/or Manufacturing industries
- Strong approach to service delivery and performance management
- Broad technical awareness and ability to manage the broader technical landscape
- Business process & data knowledge - be able to translate business requirements into solutions
- Experience of delivering large scale, complex roll-out programs
- Experience in leading teams
- Ability to attract and motivate the team, delegate effectively, and manage performance
- Able to operate in divisional and Group entities within a matrixed organisation
