What you can expect

You are familiar with the administration of larger infrastructure environments, in particular the administration of databases and the associated middleware components and applications. Together with your colleagues in the team, you will be responsible for the operation, analysis, troubleshooting and further development of the databases. You will be responsible for the operation (incl. monitoring, updates, documentation and configuration) of databases and for their installation and configuration. In addition, you will independently work out solutions for any kind of IT requirements in the software as well as in the hardware area with a focus on databases.

What you should bring to the table

• You have a degree in a technical field (e.g. computer science, business informatics, information technology, etc.), have completed training as an IT specialist (systems integration), or have a comparable IT qualification
• You have appropriate professional experience as a system administrator in the database environment (Oracle databases, PostgreSQL, MySQL, IBM DB2) and ideally have the relevant certifications
• We also welcome career starters
• Very good knowledge in the area of database administration, Real Application Cluster, Data Guard, Cloud Control and Weblogic servers complete your profile
• You have good knowledge in the administration of Linux / Unix systems
• You like to work in a team, but you are also able to act on your own responsibility
• You have a very good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• You are responsible and have analytical skills as well as high intrinsic motivation, team spirit and commitment
• Convincing communication skills and a confident appearance round off your profile
