Your Responsibilities We are seeking a skilledBusiness-IT Solution Architect to bridge the gap between ourbusiness and IT teams, focusing on our Rate Management tool. Theideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both businessprocesses and IT systems, ensuring seamless communication andcollaboration between departments. - Act as the primary liaisonbetween business stakeholders and IT teams, translating businessrequirements into technical specifications. - Ensure the RateManagement tool meets business needs by facilitating clear andeffective communication. - Collaborate with business units tounderstand their rate management requirements and challenges. -Exchange with IT vendor and internal teams to connect, develop, andmaintain the Rate Management tool. - Provide training and supportto business users on the Rate Management tool together with ourinternal Training Organization. - Monitor and analyze theperformance of the Rate Management tool, suggesting improvements asneeded. Your Profile - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in ComputerScience, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or arelated field. Relevant certifications in systems architecture,integration, or rate management systems are a plus - Minimum 3Years of Professional Experience: You should have a solidfoundation in your field, with at least 3 years of hands-onprofessional work under your belt. - Expertise in TechnicalSolutions & System Integration: You’re skilled in designingeffective, technical solutions and are comfortable working onsystem integrations. - Programming & API Knowledge: Proficiencyin relevant programming languages, including experience workingwith APIs and XML, is essential. - Freight Forwarding Knowledge (aPlus): If you have some background or familiarity with freightforwarding, that’s a bonus, but it’s not a must! - Understanding ofroute optimization system: We’re looking for someone who gets howGoogle Maps works from a logical standpoint. - Project ManagementSkills: You have experience managing projects and coordinatingefforts to ensure success. - Experience with Descartes GPM (aPlus): If you’ve worked with Descartes GPM, that’s an extraadvantage!
