Summary of the roleOur IT SOC (Security Operations Center) Team is looking for a new colleague to support the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and get involved in the investigations of cyber security threats targeting travel industry.
We are looking for an Associate Information Security Analyst (m/f/d) who is eager to actively minimize and control the damage resulting from security incidents, provide effective guidance for response and recovery activities, and work closely with the CERT team to prevent future incidents from happening.
If you're passionate about helping business units to understand and establish acceptable levels of risk, and proactively reduce the potential for incidents that pose security threats. In this role you’ll- Monitor and triage Security Events according to the SOC-CSIRT processes
- Participate in security incident response process and investigate security alerts
- Support the review, assessment, and validation of the effectiveness of SOC L1 service
- Communicate and follow-up of potential security risks detected by the SOC
- Guided from a mentor and high visibility to top management of the company
- Work with top-notch technology solutions, such as Azure, Splunk, AWS, GCE, SOAR, XDR and many more
- Participate in international teams and interact with line organization
- University degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Industry certification as GCIH, GCIA, CCNA, CEH or comparable a plus
- Interest in cyber security, potentially already backed up with initial work experience
- Good understanding of network and systems architecture
- Good vendor and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a matrix environment and think outside the box
- A drive to learn and bring in new ideas, test and implement them
- Fluent English, good written and oral communication skills to achieve results in a multicultural environment, other foreign languages a plus
