BI Data Analyst (m/f/x) - Headquarter

To support our Business Intelligence Team , we are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Data Analyst (m/f/x).
We are also happy to consider applications for BI Analyst, Business Analyst oder Buniness Intelligence Analyst.
In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, transforming, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive business decisions and optimize operations within our hotel portfolio. You will work closely with various departments, including Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations, to provide actionable insights that improve profitability, enhance guest satisfaction, and support strategic planning.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Engage hands-on in the entire data Lifecycle. Collect, process, manage and analyze large sets of data from internal and external sources, including booking data, guest demographics, pricing trends, market conditions, and competitor performance
- Data Quality & Integrity: Monitor the execution of daily ETL procedures and address any data inconsistencies or missing data by correcting the database as needed
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reporting
- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain regular performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs that provide actionable insights to management and key stakeholders
- Revenue Optimization: Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to analyze booking patterns and pricing strategies
- Trend Analysis: Identify emerging trends in guest behavior, market demand, and competition to inform pricing, marketing, and operational strategies
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions, providing insights into customer behavior, operational efficiencies, and market opportunities
- Collaboration & Communication: Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, using data visualizations and reports to support decision-making across departments
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a data analysis role, ideally in the hospitality industry or a related field (e.g., retail, travel, or tourism)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation. These skills are critical for extracting and managing large datasets efficiently
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), booking engines, and revenue management systems is a plus
- Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Problem-Solving: Ability to approach complex business problems with a solution-oriented mindset and creativity to develop strategies based on data findings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English C1, German is a plus. Ability to explain data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders
