Are you ready to play a crucial role in unifying and regulating procurement solutions globally? We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the deployment of the S4E@GT initiative as the primary authority on Procurement for Grid Technologies (GT). As the Global Procurement Process & Tools Lead, you will champion harmonization and standardization across Grid Technologies, aligning with Siemens Energy strategies and the Global Process Owner (GPO). Your role within our GT Products (PR) Procurement Team will focus on ensuring process excellence in operational procurement during the implementation of SAP S/4HANA & SAP ARIBA. Your expertise in change management will be vital as you drive the synchronization and continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems' effectiveness amid Siemens Energy's system transformation, advancing our digitalization journey.
How You'll Make an Impact
- You will map the IT landscape for the procurement processes for each location (factory), describing the tools and processes, which they are used for
- Compare different tools used in different locations, check the possibility to implement this process in SAP S/4HANA and work out pros and cons for each process and tool
- Assist individuals in Execution Units responsible for Process & Tools to develop a "reference architecture" for each EU and organizational structure. Establish standards for each capability set to be implemented globally during the rollout. The decision and release will be a collaborative effort between the Process & Tools person and the Capability Lead.
- Prepare all fundamental information for each process and tool and work out with the factory procurement representatives a concept which tool shall be used globally as a standard in each location.
- Implementation: Actively support individual rollouts of S4E's Procurement processes, providing consultation, requirements definition, and user training.
- Examine gaps within the Procurement Template, suggest strategies to bridge these disparities, and deliver comprehensive expertise in procurement procedures to achieve operational excellence for internal partners.
- Address and resolve procurement issues within factory settings, offeri insights on purchasing documentation, ensure data precision through material master knowledge, enhance material planning and procurement operations with MRP proficiency
- Closely interact with teams involved in operational procurement, supply management, supplier lifecycle control, sourcing and negotiation, contract regulation, and master data stewardship.
What You Bring
- Degree in Engineering or Information Technology and at least 3 years of experience in Procurement
- Extensive professional experience with procurement methods and processes within a global company
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, preferably also with SAP Ariba
- Strong communication and change management skills with a talent for inspiring and motivating people
- Strong data analysis skills in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
- Flexibility to travel and stay at factory and office locations to conduct training and assess process compliance
- Fluent command of English and German languages in writing and speaking
