POSITION PURPOSE:

The main function of the IT Systems Administrator role is to support the IMA Business by designing, monitoring, and implementing information systems in compliance with corporate policies and processes to manage and maintain the user endpoint devices, and supporting the forthcoming integration into the AD domain at the head office and the network readiness for this task.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works independently to complete essential job functions ensuring IT best practices are implemented and followed.

Keeping all user endpoints operational, compliant, and secure through coordination of patch management and hardware refresh schedule.

Respond to user incidents and requests through IT ticketing system and via phone.

Implement and monitor Applus+ Divisional IT policies.

Creating and maintaining documentation for internal IT staff and end users.

Maintains quality process control by following organization standards and policies.

Maintain hardware and software inventory.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.

2+ years of systems administration experience.

Upper proficiency in German

SKILLS:

Proficiency in supporting and managing Microsoft Windows Client Operating Systems (Windows 7, and Windows 10/11).

Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration, including Windows 2012/2016/2019/2022 Active Directory environment.

Experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365.

Experience with Configuration Management Tools (Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Intune, ConnectWise, etc.).

Familiar with networking concepts (desired with Cisco Meraki).

Desired knowledge of VMware vSphere.

Basic Hardware troubleshooting skills.

Experience in a large enterprise environment.

Desired working knowledge of PowerShell code writing and scripting for the purposes of systems management.

Full professional competence, written and verbal communication skills in English.

Must be a good team player and work well with others.
