GenScript Europe division, headquartered in Rijswijk, Netherlands, with a branch office in Oxford, UK, was established in 2019 to serve as a hub for commercial, technical support and logistic in the European and UK region. In our ongoing commitment to enhancing service for our EU clients, we are planning to expand our facilities within Europe in the near future.
Job Location: Home based in Germany / France / Italy / Portugal / Spain / Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Using the professional scientific knowledge to support sales team to identify and develop opportunities with application focus, especially to boost the sales of strategic products.
- Provide scientific technical training and support to Sales and TAM teams with application focus.
- Proactively approach customer via customer visit, tele-conference, and conferences, etc., to introduce application-oriented services/products and work out solutions to meet customer needs.
- Prepare and present scientific seminars at webinars, conferences and other public events.
- Work with Global Marketing Product Management Team to improve existing application materials and identify new application trends for sustainable business growth.
- Work closely with other teams to help with the technology development and application trend.
- Up to 60% business traveling is required for customer visits and conferences.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in life sciences, with industrial commercial working experience degree is a plus.
- Research or working experience in the field of gene and cell therapies (GCT).
- Excellent English and Chinese. Fluency in any other European languages is highly preferred.
- Good at presentation tools (i.e., MS PowerPoint), excellent presenting skills and comfortable to present.
- Excellent communication skills with multiple sides and the ability of getting consensus.
- Self-managing and self-motivating individual who can prioritize tasks effectively and meet customer expectations and deadlines.
