The Sales Executive - Customers is a transportation professional who closes sales deals with new customers, promoting transportation services and solutions and negotiating contracts. The role is focused on conducting Field Sales aiming to establish and expand the company’s base of Direct Customers.
The employee will be responsible for generating new business, ensuring Sales targets are met or exceeded across the assigned industries and markets.
The Sales Executive - Customers
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intensive Field Sales to pre-booked Customers in the designated country regions
- Generate leads and prospects through cold calling, networking and referrals and convert them effectively to contracted customers
- Qualify prospects’ transportation needs and spend to present USP and agile transportation solutions
- Ensure all sales visits, calls and efforts are synopsized and reported on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Utilize inside sales knowledge and negotiation techniques
- Negotiate contracts and rate agreements
- Grow revenue and relationships with existing customer base.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.
- Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
- Quote formal and spot bids
- Communicate effectively with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding potential service delivery complications
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Field Sales and Key Accounts management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Ability to successfully communicate proposals to potential partners
- Self-driven and target-oriented person willing to work in an international, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Driver’s license
Educational background:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, Communication, Business or a related field
Language & IT:
- Mandatory: Fluent in German and English
- Good skills in MS Office tools
