Key Account Manager (Proteomics) - Germany

you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy. Your primary focus will be to identify, develop, and nurture business opportunities in the protein expression sector. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and marketing, to build long-term partnerships and achieve ambitious revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business development strategy for protein expression products and services.
- Identify new market opportunities and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic sectors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and market demands.
- Drive the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and market share.
- Represent the company at international conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to guide strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities, achievements, and challenges.
Qualifications
- A degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the protein expression or related biotechnology industry.
- In-depth knowledge of protein technologies and their applications.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus.
