Job Advertisement: Global Sales Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Berlin-Adlershof

Salary: €60,000-€70,000 + €15,000-€30,000 Bonus


My client specialises in the development, production, and sales of highly sensitive cameras and optical inspection systems. Their passion and dedication serve our international clients in industry and science.


Position Overview:

They are looking for a dynamic individual to join their sales team full-time, focusing on their "scientific cameras" and "inspection systems" business areas. They seek someone with the right blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and team spirit to manage new and existing clients and sales partners independently. This role offers a playground of opportunities to explore new markets and applications for their products, plan marketing campaigns solo or as part of a team, and drive the business forward.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical sales of scientific products
  • Customer acquisition, consultation, support, and retention
  • Development of customised solutions in collaboration with our engineering team
  • Collaborate with global sales partners and establish multi-year goals
  • Quotation preparation and order processing
  • Support the technical support team, especially in customer communication
  • Plan, conduct, and evaluate sales trips, including client visits, demonstrations, product presentations, trade shows, and conferences
  • Strategically develop new customer bases/markets
  • Utilise CRM systems effectively


Your Profile:

  • Completed studies in a technical or scientific discipline, preferably in Physics, Physical Engineering, Photonics, Measurement Technology, etc.; alternatively, business engineers with strong technical knowledge
  • Personable and confident demeanour
  • High level of enthusiasm and motivation for independent, responsible work
  • Logical approach to technical issues
  • Strong technical understanding of imaging/spectroscopy
  • Experience in selling technically demanding products
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (~20-40%)
  • Proficient in LibreOffice/MS Office; knowledge of InDesign, GIMP/Photoshop is advantageous
