Regional Director (m/w/d) Specialty Pharma / international B2B Sales

Our client is a leading Specialty Care Pharma company based in Germany. With a mission to improve patients' quality of life through innovative products and solutions, our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Regional Director to bolster the sales team and drive business operations in assigned countries.

Tasks

Sales Strategy:

  • Serve as the primary contact for distributors and agents within the assigned region, including daily interactions and regular on-site visits with Health Care Professionals and Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Strengthen relationships with local partners through regular meetings
  • Identify and evaluate potential partners, manage the due diligence process, and negotiate contract terms in coordination with the Commercial Director and Director of Business Operations.
  • Optimize market potential through effective negotiations on sales, pricing, and margins.
  • Collaborate with local partners to develop a sales plan, align with distributors, and conduct annual budget and business reviews.
  • Coordinate Tenders and RFQs with the Commercial Director and Director of Business Operations to initiate the approval process.
  • Regularly review forecasts and assumptions, initiate pricing approval requests, and work with directors to increase company visibility and manage market projects.
  • Provide product training for partners in collaboration with Corporate Medical Affairs.

Monthly Sales Management:

  • Review and verify monthly sales plans with distributors to ensure alignment with current and upcoming supply.
  • Plan and monitor budgets, ensure accurate forecasts, and review partner inventories, including shelf-life management.
  • Support local sales efforts, organize and participate in local conferences and marketing activities, and collaborate on marketing initiatives with key directors.
  • Conduct and participate in local market research to better understand customer needs and competitive landscapes.

Financial and Credit Management:

  • Oversee financial matters with distributorswith support from Business Operations.
  • Verify payment status, manage credit lines, and propose necessary adjustments.
  • Ensure approval of all debit notes and initiate credit release processes.
  • Approve and reconcile commissions with receivables as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with authorities and payers to ensure timely payments.
Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in scientific disciplines or business administration
  • Proven track record in international B2B Sales within Life Science Industries
  • Proven ability to build and maintain high-quality relationships with external partners and institutional stakeholders.
  • Expertise in P&L management and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent sales skills and strong commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in English, additional language a plus
  • Cross-cultural competence
