Aufgaben: abwechslungsreich und verantwortungsvoll

Develop and coordinate the quarterly slot allocation plan to ensure unloading capacity for cross-border volumes

Be the first line of support for slot allocation matters

Coordinate between BUs and support issue resolution

Play an integral role as part of the international capacity management cycle during peak and beyond

Develop network planning models by use of planning optimisation and simulation tools

Support the implementation of planning solutions for the business units

Support network optimisation identification through monitoring and analysis

Support the team in problem analysis and solution development, as well as development of tools and reporting

Perform regular telephone conferences and meetings with the BU’s to coordinate and follow-up on the slot allocations and network modelling activities

Advise as subject matter expert in the topic of cross-border network planning and linehaul scheduling in support of the BU’s and other Geopost departments

Stärken: fachlich und persönlich

Degree in business administration / logistics / mathematics / science or other equivalent preferred and/or commercial training with the appropriate professional experience

Fluent communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Experience in the areas of Road Network Planning or equivalent

Experience in handling key figures as an instrument of capacity, cost and quality management

Elaborated analytical skills and feel for performance indicators

Advanced knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Knowledge and experience with BI tools and/or Planning tools

Understanding and experience with programming and/or ability to create the business requirements for the development of network planning tools

Understanding of complex organisation relationships

A target-oriented and precise working approach
