Senior Sales Manager - Energy Storage

As they expand their presence in the energy storage sector, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to join their team.


Role Summary: The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth in the energy storage market. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to the overall success of the company’s energy storage initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the energy storage landscape and a passion for driving innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales and Brand awareness: Partner with local customers to develop business and achieve sales targets: make strategies per different statuses of potential clients; build up and maintain a good relationship with key accounts; provide best-in-class sales service to clients, etc.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential partners in the energy storage sector.
  • Business Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy, including identifying target markets, assessing competitive landscapes, and creating go-to-market plans.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry players, government bodies, and research institutions.
  • Project Identification: Identify and evaluate potential energy storage projects, considering technical feasibility, financial viability, and environmental impact.
  • Deal Negotiation: Lead negotiations for partnerships, joint ventures, and investment opportunities.
  • Project Management: Oversee the development and execution of energy storage projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, positioning them as a thought leader in energy storage.


Qualifications:

  • Degree/Qualifications in business, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in business development within the energy sector ideally in the Energy Storage sector
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in German and English
