Senior Sales Manager

Location: Germany, Hybrid


About the client and role

Our client, a leader in autonomous technology, is looking for a Senior Sales Manager. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for advanced robotic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development and sales efforts for LiDAR products in the robotics sector, including areas like Autonomous Mobility, Surveillance, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Reality Capture.
  • Execute a consultative sales approach, focusing on top prospects and key accounts, with the goal of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets. Build relationships from the engineering level up to C-suite executives.
  • Oversee and support the EMEA partner network, including distributors and value-added resellers (VARs), to ensure effective partnerships.
  • Generate a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct customer engagement and targeted prospecting activities.
  • Screen and qualify leads from the company’s website, trade shows, and marketing initiatives, ensuring prompt and effective follow-up.
  • Participate in EMEA trade shows and industry events to engage with potential customers and deepen relationships with existing clients.
  • Gather and communicate customer requirements to product management, marketing, and engineering teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate reporting for business operations and finance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Goal-oriented Business Development Manager with 3-5 years of sales experience in the industrial sector across the EMEA region.
  • Demonstrated success in surpassing annual sales targets and achieving business development or account management objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
